The granite diamond pads and their advantages

There are 4 uncomplicated approaches used today to produce a shine on natural stone floors: Buffing with polishing products, grinding with granite diamond pads, crystallization, and applying barrier coatings. Each method may not be active on all stone types and the use of more than one may be essential.

Polishing Powders and Mixtures are fine grains of aluminum or tin oxide abrasive powder that are polished or rubbed on the surface of the stone to create shine. This process is actually the same as polishing with diamonds except that the powder is much finer abrasive. This process is most often augmented by the addition of oxalate to create a reaction similar to crystallization.

Bonastre Pro for Granite Shining:

Grinding with the diamond abrasives called the Bonastre Pro is done by grinding the surface of the stone with numerous grits of industrial-grade diamonds that are typically in three to four-inch diameter pads or discs. Three to six discs are placed on the bottom of a floor machine drive plate and held on with Velcro. A low-speed floor machine is used to drive the plate and sand the stone surface with diamonds to eliminate scratches. The procedure is repeated with finer and finer grits of diamonds until a power-driven shine is attained.

Advantages:

  • Is the most normal method.

  • Very durable, long-lasting texture.

  • Never needs stripping.

  • Will remove all scratches, scars, stains, and dullness.

  • Works well on marble and granite.

  • Fast, clean, and chemical-free.

  • Anti-slippery even when the floor is wet.

The diamond polishing pads can be used with any floor scrubbing machine and require only water. The best part of this product is that one can use it in any season without worrying. Unlike many products which get soiled or too hard as the weather changes.

Granite is amongst the most versatile and extensively used naturals stones in housing and commercial developments. It is also one of the toughest and most forgiving constituents on the market. However, over time, even this incredibly durable stone can submit to scratches and etching. Dull spots might also become an unavoidable reality. Luckily, with a little knowledge and the right products, you can polish granite and restore its natural beauty and shine.

On your primary visit to a stone yard, you will typically find yourself with three choices of granite countertop finishes: polished, honed, and leathered. The most shared finish used for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity tops is polished, due to its mirror-like reflective properties which leave the stones’ natural beauty on display. Polished granite is easier to maintain, it’s less prone to stains, and is designated for high traffic areas.

The granite diamond pads can be used in heavy footfall areas and clear off the scratches for good. Mirror shine effect can be gained with these Bonastre Pro pads.
